Fibrolon® - Natural fibre reinforced plastics

FIBROLON^® are fibre reinforced compounds. Depending on specific customer requirements either a biodegradable polymer or a polyolefin can be used as the polymeric matrix.

With the brand name of FIBROLON^® FKuR has developed natural fibre reinforced compounds (Wood-Plastics-Composites: WPC), which, unlike many other WPC, can be injection moulded without problems. Furthermore it is possible to process FIBROLON^® to complex profiles, panels and hollow profiles and/or into components for the automotive interiors. FIBROLON^® compounds are distinguished by high strength and a stiffness comparable to wood.
