Pencil shaped extrusion applications
Using the FKuR resins it is also possible to extrude profiles. The wood filled FIBROLON® F 8530 can be used as raw material for the production of pencil and eyebrow pencil outers which can be finished or sharpened at a later stage. BIO-FLEX® F 6510 resin can be used to produce cotton buds (for hygienic applications) and our FIBROLON® P 8530 is used for conventional profile extrusion.

"Tee"
Although not a writing utensil (but geometrically similar!) the injection moulded "Tee" is used in golf for long shots on the course. You can tread these "Tees", made from BIOGRADE® C 9550, with a clear conscience deep into the grass after the shot. It will biodegrade there slowly to biomass, CO2 and water.

Urns made from Biograde® and Fibrolon®
Until recently many urns have been made from metal or conventional plastics. Both of these materials do not degrade or hardly degrade at all. If they are buried for many years it is often necessary to exhume these urns (with the contents) and dispose of them.
Biodegradable urns manufactured using BIOGRADE® C 9550 or FIBROLON® F 8530 offer a natural alternative combined with a certain style.
