Disposable catering items made from Biograde® C 9550

BIOGRADE^® C 9550 is the only biodegradable material with mechanical properties comparable to polystyrene and a high heat distortion temperature of 115°C (Vicat A). In addition, it is possible to process BIOGRADE^® C 9550 on conventional injection moulding machines using cold runners.

Our customers have indicated that BIOGRADE^® can be processed on ABS tools without any problem and PP tools are also adequate in some cases. However, the best choice is to adapt the tool especially for BIOGRADE^®.
