With the slogan of "Plastics – made by nature!" FKuR Kunststoff GmbH, in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute UMSICHT, Oberhausen, has developed a wide range of biodegradable plastics primarily made from natural resources.
Terralene® and Green PE 
Following FKuR's philosophy "plastics made by nature" and its commitment to sustainable raw materials, FKuR has been appointed as exclusive European distributor of Green PE for the Brazilian company Braskem S.A.
Furthermore, FKuR offers tailor made compounds based on Green PE with the brand name Terralene®. Green PE and Terralene® stand out due to their high content of renewable resources (up to 100 %), whilst exhibiting the same properties and characteristics as conventional Polyethylene.
FKuR bioplastics can be converted using conventional plastics processing machines and methods such as Injection Moulding, Extrusion, Co-Extrusion, Thermoforming, Blow Moulding, Injection Blow Moulding, Lamination, Extrusion Coating, Sheet Extrusion, Profile Extrusion.
